Vivian Maduekeh is a Program Manager and Food Technologist in partnership with Food Health Systems Advisory Africa (FHSA). Vivian is based in Lagos, Nigeria and founded FHSA in 2015. Prior to FHS Advisory, she worked with the World Health Organization’s Food Safety and Zoonosis Unit in Geneva, a UK Department for International Development health project and with Rivers Vegetable Oil Company as a quality control/production officer. Vivian holds an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, UK and a BSc. (Hons) in Food Science and Technology. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a registered auditing, food safety and HACCP trainer for the UK-regulated Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance. Vivian is a professional member of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, a food security fellow at the Aspen Institute, and a trustee at the Lagos Food Bank Initiative. She is a strong advocate for food system strengthening and has an excellent record of delivering solutions that integrate global health, food systems and agriculture in emerging markets.
