Motivated by her desire to make positive change in the world and love for multi-disciplinary and collaborative environments, Gillian found the perfect fit with Partners in Food Solutions as our Associate Program Manager in Kenya. “Sharing in the entrepreneurs’ vision and helping them resolve their operational challenges, while in turn realizing social impact within communities, is what drives me,” she said. Gillian has a Higher National Diploma in Food Technology from the Technical University of Kenya and previously worked as a horticulture sector advisor for the Hivos Foundation East Africa. She is also currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in development studies in Nairobi, Kenya. She celebrates her love for food and sustainability by spending time in her garden.
