Passionate about the connection between food, culture, and everyday life, Keren is inspired by the growing visibility and accessibility of African food products. Having grown up with many traditional foods that were homemade or purchased from local vendors, she finds it meaningful to now see those same foods more readily available on store shelves, making life easier while preserving culture and identity.
At PFS, she is especially energized by the organization’s work helping food businesses grow, strengthen their operations, and think bigger while contributing to Africa’s growing presence in the global food sector. She also enjoys being at the forefront of the volunteer experience, connecting with people across continents, backgrounds, and functions who share a commitment to PFS’s mission.
Outside of work, Keren is an avid tennis player with the goal of one day competing professionally and representing Ghana. She also enjoys movies and psychological thrillers, particularly stories that explore how people think and make decisions under pressure.
