Clare is inspired by travel and cultural literacy—being a global citizen, learning from others, broadening one’s horizons by being exposed to things beyond your daily life. One of the things she most appreciates about her job with PFS is the experiences it affords with other parts of the world. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where she received a business degree with an emphasis on leadership, management, and communication, Clare studied in both London and South Africa, experiences that sparked her love for international business and development. Clare is also very inspired by volunteerism—the impact you can have by donating your time. People often underestimate the impact of their knowledge, she says, but they can give a little bit of themselves and make a big impact. When not at work, Clare enjoys kickboxing, tending to her indoor garden of 30-some plants, volunteering, and reading about current events. Clare aspires to make a career of leading others to make changes in the world, where they see opportunities or injustices.
